Spring wreath

Hey there!

Happy Monday to you all…

I’ve been under the weather for a couple of days. Travelling does exhaust me…  I’m still unwell but I had to log in to show you this spring wreath I made.

I used crepe paper to cover up the wreath and touched it up with a dusty pink ribbon.

The flowers are all handmade along with the buds and leaves… I added a die cut butterfly and that was it. 🙂

Here is a closer look at the flowers…

The shading on the flowers was done by chalk pastels.

This is by far the quickest wreath I have ever made…. 😀 and I actually like it a lot!

There is still a lot more that I have to share with you…

So do check by soon…

Till then,

Have a beautiful day

Going red…

Hey there!

As promised, I am back with another make that I really like and thought of sharing it with you.

Valentine’s is just around the corner and all I can see is the color red everywhere. I made quite a few lovey dovey things, and this canvas is one of them!

Done in acrylics with paper embellishments… this one is getting all the attention. 🙂

Will be putting this beauty up in the next craft fair.

Loads more to come… stay tuned.

Till then

Take care and have a lovely day.

Last of this season’s Christmas card.

Hey there!

Happy Sunday to y’all!

It seems as if things don’t settle down for me, even though I am now closed for this year’s orders and projects.

Somewhere in my mind, I am still thinking about the next year’s products and projects and ways to up my game. So, now it is official that there is no rest for my little brain!

Today I have to show you the last of the Christmas cards of this season. I made this card with my brand new punch that just arrived a few days ago. I love the design of the lace. I will surely be using this to the max in my new projects!

So, this wraps up the Christmas crafts for me.

Now, in a few days time I will be moving on to the next year’s orders and projects…

Till then,

Take care and have an awesome day!

My take on Christmas cards!

Hey there!

It has been some time since I last posted about my projects. It is the season of lots of craft fairs and carnivals and I have been really busy with the stalls. For the first time in my life I made Christmas cards and I enjoyed making every single one of them!

Here is one of the cards I made using “floral fantasies” scrap book paper and punches and dies.

This swirl leaf die is by far my favorite! I happen to use this the most. For me it goes really well with flower bunches.

I made a few more cards. I will be uploading them soon.

Do pop in back again.

Till then

Take care and have an awesome day!

More greeting cards!

Hey there!

I have been working and working and working. It seems like I am having one of those Eureka moments. Hats off to hubby for bearing with me!

These cards were done in the same color scheme, but different styles.

It has a christmas-y look to it and this is one of my favorite color combos.

I made six of these in about half an hour. So, it was a happy day for me as I was feeling like little miss smarty pants! hehehe

So, what’s the verdict?

More designs still to come… Stay tuned!

Till then

Have a glittery day!

Autumn is here and so is my wreath!

Hey there!

My week is on a rock and roll.

It has been quite sometime since I wanted to change the old wreath that I had on my front door.

And I am happy to say that I managed that!

And I am happy to show you my front door.

Oh yes…One thing I want to mention is that ‘Salam’ is the Arabic greeting which means ‘Peace’.

So peace on everyone who walks through that door… 🙂

One more thing… the wreath was actually made with the empty cardboard packing my new wall clock came in… he he he !

So this was a recycling craft for me as well. Feels good when you recycle… doesn’t it?

Now for the other important things. So till then..

Have a glittering day….
